Sportinglife.com For All The Latest Sports Results And News

Sportinglife.com is the best website around for sport in my opinion. I know there are loads of websites out there for football, cricket etc…. But for all round sporting action I think this is the best. I often use sporting life for football results. I play fantasy football and I like to know the scores and who got the assists etc… You get a detailed minute by minute review of all the football matches which gives you everything you need to know and all the stats you could possibly want.

The website is very quick to update, you can be watching live on TV and within a minute the goals appear on the website. It’s also very good for checking on transfer information between the clubs. They have a transfer centre section which has all the rumours you can ever need. These are updated on a regular basis and let you know the new gossip very quickly.

The website is also great for all the other major sports. Cricket, Rugby, Golf, Snooker are just some of the sections I often check on. The cricket again has an excellent minute by minute update of the matches and it does update very fast. In fact all the sports that are covered on the website have live section where the scores come in within minutes of the action happening.

It’s a great website for putting up the headlines. There is always the latest sporting news on the home page. And it will cycle through the main stories as you watch. This is something I enjoy as it means you can get all the major sports in one place. There are also betting odds for all the major sporting occasions, I don’t bet so have never really needed these but some people I’m sure would find it very handy.

The layout of the website is very simple and easy to follow. All the links are easy to spot and all the major sports have their own page so that you can just concentrate on one sport. The live updates open in a separate window so that you can be working on one page while in the corner you can have a small box giving you updates.

So if you’re into sport and want to know all the latest scores, results, headlines etc.. This has to be the website for you. It has everything you need and the pages are easy to navigate round. This really is one of the best sporting websites on the internet and it’s one I have been using for many years and will probably continue to use for many more years into the future.

Golf Tips: Short Wedge Shots

When you do find yourself on a 400 yard hole..

You would think you are home free once you are within 50 yards – but golf does not work like that. In fact, the first 300 yards are usually the easiest part of the game, once you have learnt how to drive, that is. The tricky part about getting the golf balls that final little distance; without hitting a hazard, ending up in the rough or over hitting the green. It is times like this that a nice, short wedge shot can save you a lot of time and bother! Wedge shots lift the ball high and, with extra back spin, drop it down in a specific place – so you don’t have to worry about the ball rolling on. As long as you place your shot well, you are home free!

Key things to remember when playing a short wedge shot including keeping your weight on your front foot throughout the shot, placing the ball slightly forwards in your stance and making sure the backswing is slightly shorter than the followthrough. All this will help you lift the ball high, but drop it accurately. Check out our old post about adding spin to your ball for even better results!

Lightweight Golf Trolley: News

A golf trolley is needed by a golfer when he does not want to carry a golf bag with his water bottles, mobile, umbrella, towel, golf balls, tees, cart bag and other necessary things. Since golfer wants to get rid of heavy bags, therefore, he should opt for light weight golf trolley.

The most easy and immediate solution for carrying things around the golf course is available in form of trolleys. It should be assured that trolley is strong and light in weight so that it can carry heavy things. Titanium, a light weight and strong metal, is used to manufacture such trolleys.

Types of lightweight golf trolleys
Three types of trolleys are designed to avoid the burden of heavy golf bags namely, electric trolleys, manual trolleys and electric cart. A golfer can use any of the three kinds for his ease and comfort.

Electric Trolley
These trolleys are available with three wheels and are operated with a remote control. Since these are powered with batteries, therefore, golfer has to use a remote control to travel it to desired path. These trolleys are gaining popularity because of the fact that they reduce burden of golf bags and stress of walking across the golf course.

Manual Trolley
These trolleys are designed to push or pull. Pulling trolleys are made up with two wheels and push trolleys are made up with thee wheels. Pull trolleys are considered safer than the push ones because they have rubber wheels and are safe to move on golf ground.

Electric Cart
Golfer can sit in it and drive anywhere in the golf course. Not every golfer owns an electric cart; most of them have to hire these carts in the golf courses.

Benefits of light weight trolley
Less sprain and pressure

While a golfer is playing 18 hole courses game, light weight trolleys benefit the most. It reduces the pressure and effort of carrying and moving the golf bag across golf course.

Easy transportation
A golfer can easily transport his golf items from one corner to other corner of the golf course without carrying all the things manually.

Polara Golf® Ultimate Straight Golf Ball is put to the test by Ron Claiborne of ABC News. Ron and his golfing buddies were dubious about the no slice golf ball, but found that the Ultimate Straight Ball exceeded their expectations even though they were trying hard to hook or slice the ball. Time to eliminate frustration on the golf course and have more fun from the fairway.
